Home Posture Extension Exercises for Neck and Back

By Dr Cliff Fruithandler DC

These simple exercises can help improve your posture by strengthening the ex tensor muscle of the neck and back there by helping to reduce round shouldering. These are particularly good if you have rounded shoulders with the head in a forward carriage. These work with the daily door stretching. Remember, you should have no pain while doing these. If you do see your Chiropractor, Orthopaedist or Physical therapist first. These are also very helpful in reducing chronic aches due to a automobile accident for whiplash injury healing. Do not do these when you have acute pain. If you are in a motor vehicle accident, see your chiropractor first or call us for an appointment. Long term these are good for both rehabbing, strengthening the neck and back as well as preventing future flare ups.
